An Air France flight AF393 from Beijing (PEK) to Paris (CDG) returned to Beijing due to a smoke in cabin after a bang was heard. According to Air France the aircraft returned due to the detection of a technical incident.
18.9.2021 Update:
“A failure of the aircraft’s pneumatic system resulted in overpressurization in one of the air conditioning pipes, which spread residue and dust in the cabin,” Air France said in its statement.
The aircraft involved, Boeing 777-328(ER), registration F-GSQD, has no other record in our database at the time of publication.
